SIMPLE BANDAID TAPE ELEMENT

If you RIGHT CLICK on the download link, and choose the option "Open in New Window" you won't be taken away from my blog entry, rather you will be able to download the element and still read today's entry.

Just a little entry today folks! It's looking refreshingly cool outside and I have plans of just sitting and getting aquainted with my latest aquisition - Painter X (a digital painting program)

The pot-luck lunch at the school was a grand success - kind of a happy/sad affair as its the last one of the school year. We really get to know the students as family by the end. Roger & Marie, it was so nice to meet your visitors yesterday - I'll be praying for a safe trip home when they leave!

Bonnie and Roman visited last night and we watched slideshows of our past holidays - what a great way to pass an evening. What a wonderful thing to share all these happy memories with friends! Bonnie and Roman are also good photographers and we saw the most amazing pictures of thier hikes and the flowers and critters they've come across. We are hoping to do this more often!

I'll also be working up some Father's Day-ish thing for my sweet husband and finking up some ideas for an upcoming bridal shower for a young lady from our church - me and my friend Becky will be doing all the decoratin'

THRONE MOUNTAIN - after the rain.

I'm adding my blog reader Shirley to my 'forever' links to the left of my blog, as she has been a faithful encourager to my blog daily. Thanks so much Shirley - welcome to my world!

Thank you all, as well for your feedback regarding the criminal who's returning to his community... its really a hard one, for sure.

These pages demonstrate visual phenomena, and »optical« or »visual illusions«. The latter is more appropriate, because most effects have their basis in the visual pathway, not in the optics of the eye.

  4. :) I had a selection of injury/band-aid stickers for scrapbooking once too, the time I broke my nose they came in very handy for a scrap page! Looking forward to sorting through all the fun stuff with you on Monday morning. The weekend is supposed to be very cool & somewhat rainy so have fun with your Painter program!

  6. Totally off the subject du jour, but in knitting there's something similar to your visual optical illusion / Old FAshioned Lenticular images ... it's called SHADOW KNITTING and a wonderful Scandinavian woman reinvented it. It's made with ridges and valley [knits and purls] and looking straight on it looks like a neat pattern, but then at an angle it could be a butterfly, fish, or triangles. Rather interesting!
