Trick your Eyes!
71 Optical Illusions & Visual Phenomena
These pages demonstrate visual phenomena, and »optical« or »visual illusions«. The latter is more appropriate, because most effects have their basis in the visual pathway, not in the optics of the eye.

Totally off the subject du jour, but in knitting there's something similar to your visual optical illusion / Old FAshioned Lenticular images ... it's called SHADOW KNITTING and a wonderful Scandinavian woman reinvented it. It's made with ridges and valley [knits and purls] and looking straight on it looks like a neat pattern, but then at an angle it could be a butterfly, fish, or triangles. Rather interesting!
ReplyDeleteThis bandaid is so cute - thank you! Glad the potluck went well - just thinking of it makes me hungry - LOL!
ReplyDeletehi barb! haven't stopped in for a while so now I am catching up... glad your potluck went well, your meat pie looks delicious - will have to try that recipe sometime! all those tapes you've made are just adorable, too! and thanks fpr the bandaid - like Val I hope I only have use for it on past photos! :) enjoy your weekend and oh, yeah - you've been tagged! :) details on my blog - but basically just write 7 things about yourself and then tag 7 other ppl! :) hugs!
ReplyDeleteoh, LOL, Barb - you can take your time, far as I know there is no deadline! but I am wondering what kind of secrets you're gonna spill... LOL :) as for me being talented... sheesh, I always thought the whole digi community was comprised of all the more talented people in the world! seriously. lol. (I was born in Montreal - do you ask for a specific reason?) xoxo
ReplyDeleteThank you for the band-aid!
