CHARMS AND 'NOT SO CHARMED'

GEL CHARMS ELEMENT
I hope you enjoy these charms as much as I enjoyed making them! Every day is a new discovery in my little digital world. If I can have so much fun making these I close my eyes and imagine our Creator molding us! We are told He delights in us...
On the NOT SO CHARMING end of things, we awoke this morning to a very altered view from our kitchen window. To now we have enjoyed a clear view of beautiful Osoyoos Lake, but we've known for some time there will be some condo's built across the road. Unfortunately, though there is plenty of space that they could have been built in such a way as to not obstruct our view, they are planning on making them so tall that we will lose it, almost completely. Sigh. (Not to mention this totally affects resale of this house now it has been robbed of a lakeview) Instead of being upset I am choosing to be thankful for the time we have had to enjoy the lakeview.
I am just delighted to be putting some of my layouts at CWO - and possibly other projects too. I will keep you posted! I hope to get to know new friends!
Today's entry is brief as we are heading off to the city today. I hope you all have a wonderful day!
BARB'S TIP # 11
USE FRESH HERBS IN SALADS
I keep both a bunch of cilantro and parsley in pretty glasses or wineglasses on my kitchen counter. Not only are they lovely and fresh, they are handy to toss into almost any dish! Especially nice is tossing cilantro right in with your salads - with a little fresh squeezed lemon or lime and sea salt ... mmmm When basil is available in summer I really go wild with fresh leaves in my salads. In a pinch, when I've had no lettuce available, and sometimes just to punch up a sandwhich, I use cilantro or basil instead ... it adds an amazing flavor!
