Just another small (experimental) goodie for you to enjoy! I'd LOVE to see how you use it - just email me at lalalime{at}hotmail{dot}com

Ohhh thanks for sharing, Judy! I love both the layout and the pizza pan too. I can't wait to see your 'campfire' pizza coming up in another layout! You're a terrific cook and I bet you have a personal favorite recipe to share with us.

Here's a funny video for my fishin man brother Barry (and Judy's fine husband!) If you've heard Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take the Wheel" - well, this is another take on it:

Gail made this sweet layout of her Llama “My Tawny Cuppa Double Chai Latte” using my stitched teacup element and elements from other talented designers. Ohhh LOVE alpacas and llamas! Thanks for sharing. You can see more of Gail's cool critters by clicking HERE.

Ohh this looks so YUMMY, Victoria. I think I could eat your layout up - after finishing off some of Judy's pizza she makes with that new pizza pan, ya think? By the way, Victoria has her own blog too, which you can visit by clicking HERE!

I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing more of your wonderful layouts Victoria - I promise to get my 'stuffs' to you REALLY soon!

Busy busy as a bee,

drying cherries in the sun you see,

For someone gave fourty pounds to me,

For free.

And they are organically grown too! So I’ve been pitting and drying and freezing – salting away for the long winter months. Pitting is the pits. Like on a person’s hands and nails. I’m sure it some kind of a joke, as I painted my finger and toe-nailses for the first time in a long time, when my sister was visiting. Had them all pink sparkley with little flowers on and EVERYTHING. Now, it looks like I dug in the garden or never clean them. Sigh.

And I also was given about 10 lb apricots, but they are no trouble at all! I’m drying them in the sun, as long as the hot weather holds, and will only bring them in for the dehydrator if the weather changes. It will be a little bit of sunshine in muffins and cookies in the long months of winter.

I apologise if I’ve not been a good blog-visitor this past week, just far too much to do! I should get back in the swing of things in the next week or two. I’m frantically working on a second Junkyard Garden kit – its FLOWING! Off I go to 'GET IT DONE'

Putting things off, making excuses,

taking a rest... no amount of good intentions in the world

make up for a lack of self-discipline

and the result is poverty, frustration and broken relationships.

"A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest -
and poverty will come on you like a bandit,
and scarcity like an armed man."

Proverbs 24:33-34 NIV

I've got a 'funny' to share with you next time, from my friend Janice - but for now, I'm leaving you with this cute video of an unlikely superhero:

On a more serious note, the following video moved me to tears - totally inspiring - I'd love to know if it changed YOU too!

  1. Summer time is so busy with the fruits of the field rolling in as well as the fruits of your hand rolling out!!!! We all need a little breathing space in summer.

I'm totally envious of those cherries and apricots! Sun dried even. Organic. Free. Wow!

  4. Good Morning Barb:)
Thank you sooo much for stopping by and leaving a sweet comment for me.:)
The Georgia Aquarium was our vacation trip.It was the only day all four of us could get off at the same time...plus..we don't know how much my Dentist trip is gonna cost and we will wait until after that to decide if we will go anywhere else.My guess is we will be hanging out close to home.LOL The eye Doc trip was close to four hundred dollars cause I have to have bifocals and a pretty pair of frames.hehe I can't wear the contact lenses I would need cause I get motion sickness. They said I would have a really hard time adjusting to that.I would need one eye for up close and the other for far away.I'm already confused enough.LOL Glasses will have to do.:)
I hope you have a fantastic weekend.:)

    Hugs,
    Valinda
