ReplyDeleteYes - we have a special part of our church service on Rememberance Sunday - a serving or retired member or armed services lays a wreath, we have a cornet player play the Last Post, then 2 minutes of silence and then Reveille. Very moving.
Everyone wears the poppy at church on Rememberance Sunday.
We visited a war cememtry in northern France this summer - very moving.
