Chocolate Deluxe

Some chocolate tastes good, some looks amazing - and sometimes it's both as is the case of ChocolaTas. My friend Cicero (link in sidebar) introduced me to this place and whenever we hit the coast we stop in for a taste - and to feast our eyes.

You can visit their site at www.chocolatas.com

Here are some pics I snapped there on this past Easter weekend.

Pretty edible slippers!

Rows of delectable confections!

Decisions, decisions...

Tell me about YOUR favorite chocolate stop! I'll post pics here if you send them.

  1. Funny you should mention chocolate. Since Valentine and Easter, it was brought to my attention that no chocolate heart or bunny goes uneaten by me for long. As a joke (I think) my daughter handed me a DVD called An Intervention: A Chocolate Comedy Mockumentary by Candace Newton. You can probably find portions of it online, if you’re interested in having a laugh. :)

  3. Oh, we go there every time we get to the coast. So yum. If you like ginger, they make the best chocolate coated ginger. For plain, unflavoured we buy the Vallrohna 39% chocolate pieces. Very nice. But we always get a few specialty ones ... we have many favourites there.

    Thanks for the link!

  4. After Lindts, my favorite chocolate is home made. Like my grandma used to make. Just sugar, heavy cream, cocoa, and a bit of flour. It is soooo good, but I can never get it to turn hard. So I just enjoy when other people make it. Probably better for me, not to have it in the house....
