I'm still canning. I have some layouts and photos and other 'stuff' to share soon. Probably some sort of a nice freebie too, if I can get it together.

Mom said this morning, as we were chatting about when Mr. Miles was little and they lived on the farm, that

"We had 5 long rows of corn. Mr. Miles used to go out and find the very first ripe cobs of corn. As the kids left home, the rows got wider."

I thought this was a poignant way to measure the loss of the children as they left home.

  2. Good Morning Barb:)
Just popped in to say Hi.:)
It sounds like you are having a wonderful time.Soo happy for you.!!
I have been catching up on some cleaning around the house. Yesterday I spent all day in my son's room organizing it. Fun..huh?LOL It's a small room and he has lots of "stuff"...so if it isn't organized..it gets cluttered very fast.
Thanks for the update and your story about Miles.:)It's not easy watching your kids leave home.I am blessed to still have my oldest two with us.:)
Can't wait to see the pics you have taken.:)

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hugs,
