Mojo Monday 224 (yeh, I run a day late and a dollar short!) and more beautiful ice photos

I’ll make it short and sweet today.  I’m happily snow and housebound due to the inclement weather we are having.  Bring it on!

Mojo Monday 224

My take:

Supplies:

Paper and Cardstock – Recollections from Michaels.

Stamp: Kolette Hall Hugs & Kisses

Heart “cut” for Silhouette SD – me!

I went very basic and simple on this one.  I’ve had this “country-ish” ribbon in my basket since the time my great great GREAT Gramma came over the Rocky Mountains in a Red River cart (she really really did!)  Well, the ribbons been around for a long time and I’ve never been able to pin it properly on a project.  This worked awesome.  I created my very own “bumpy heart” cut for this project and layered on the red and white.

I finished my project off by accenting the “kisses” (tell me why kisses are the x’s and the o’s are hugs?)  with some Crackle Accents by Inkssential.

More beautiful ice photos taken earlier this week:

I wish I could shrink down into this magical little world.

There are these crazy “bubble-pockets” here and there.

I’m in AWE of this “little bird” frozen out of a reed in the ice…

I love God’s handiwork!

Like the fingers of an icy giant’s hand.

What can I say – sooo beautiful.  This is not water, but ice, reflected in front.

More to come!

  5. Your photos are amazing... You have captured the beauty and magic of frozen water. I am very fond of your flower design and wanted to download it but it is for PC and I have a Mac, so sad that I cannot try your creations.
