Happy Birthday to our brother Dave... who's always had to share his special day with a whole lot of mischievousnesses, being on April Fools. I know our Mom would not have thought this was any sort of a joke! In all seriousness Dave, We hope you have a most wonderful day & perhaps you and Neti may even be off hiding from the world to celebrate. We LOVE you!

The first of April, some do say,
Is set apart for All Fools' Day,
But why the people call it so,
Nor I, nor they themselves do know.
But on this day are people sent
On purpose for pure merriment.
But 'tis a thing to be disputed,
Which is the greatest Fool reputed,
The Man that innocently went,
Or he that hime designedly sent.

I'm letting each of these delightful critters out of their cages to come to your favorite scrapping projects. I chose this big 'ol GO-rilla cuz it kinda reminds me of our brother Dave, big, warm, cuddly, unless you get 'im mad.... KIDDING ALREADY! Be prepared for some of the wilder animals to be let out in the next days!

The following layout is one blog reader Kate made last year, but I couldn't help but repost so you can see the possibilities of some of the zoo animals. PLEASE let me know if you make layouts, I'd love to share them here on my blog, with other readers!

I saw a handy hint recently that I must share. If you make tacos and you didn’t buy the new ‘flat bottomed’ type that will stand up by themselves then you will appreciate this cool idea. Simply take an egg carton, separate the top portion from the bottom and throw the top away. Next, cut the bottom part into three sections of four cups... turn them upside down, and voila, you have three taco holders!
