Wow, it has been over three weeks since my last post. Sometimes we just get derailed despite our very best of intentions. It has been a terribly busy season, with some time away, a wonderful visit with my sister Nina and a warm family reunion for Thanksgiving and there is my job at a printing business too, so not much time to craft lately. This week’s challenge is to use “paper piecing” - ha, I never knew it was called that! I enjoyed this technique.
I’m not certain of the name of the paper I used for the pocket and flower as it was a remnant found in my scraps bin. (that good old scrap bin, hey?) The background paper is from Hampton Art.
The stamp for this flower and for the pocket and sentiment are by Stampin’ Up.
I mounted the pocket up using a bit of foam tape at the back and then I created this sentiment to slip into the pocket. I trimmed it with coordinating paper from the background paper.
