I know I made an entry for it. I remember having lunch with my sweet friend Alison - but surely that was another day, a different day? Ah, I have been working so hard that my days are blurring together! The project I am working on is consuming me - both when I am involved in it and when I lay down at night. There are many other activities going on at the same time, and its becoming hard to remain focused. I feel a bit as if I'm standing in the midst of a four lane highway, the cars passing at high speed and I'm being buffetted on all sides. At the same time, I'm at peace. I know that I'm not the driver here... and whether I worry or not will not affect the outcome but choosing to trust in Him, let Him do the worrying for me, I will have a much more pleasant ride.
My friend Valerie invited me over to her blog yesterday as she is writing about an interesting subject - signing with babies. We didn't have this when our children were young and it sounds very interesting. I'm hoping to take a few minutes out today to visit her there.
I hope you have a good day! Please send me any requests for expired elements and I will gladly email them to you. Any requests? (yes, I'm working on a unicorn...) My email is lalalime@hotmail.com
BARB'S TIP # 23
Listen Up!
I mentioned to you yesterday to find help when you need it? If you are like me and have to spend quite a bit of time at your computer, you may want to check out MIDDAY CONNECTION (click the words) The programs are pre-recorded and you can listen to them on your demand. The programs feature guests each day and subjects are always timely and relavant. There is something there for everyone. I often send the link to friends if the program may be of interest. Its so nice to fill myself with knowledge while I work. Today, I'm listening to Blueprints for a Solid Marriage by Dr. Steve Stevens. I'd love to hear which one spoke to you!
