First off, I want to thank each and every one of you for reading my blog, and secondly, I thank you even more for your encouraging comments. Truly, your kind words are like cheese to mice, like candy to kids. I'm unashamed to tell you that I get as excited to check my email as I do my real mail! It continues to amaze me that you'all get something valuable from my blog - and it amazes me, that like the fishes and the loaves, each day I find something to share with you. Some days, I rack my brains wondering "What on earth can I write tomorrow" yet, the very next morning as I sit here to write to you, I have more than I can use in one day. This is definately a GOD THING because I couldn't do it on my own. Thank you, Lord!
LUKE 9:13-17
13 He replied, "You give them something to eat."
They answered, "We have only five loaves of bread and two fish—unless we go and buy food for all this crowd."
14 (About five thousand men were there.)
But he said to his disciples,
But he said to his disciples,
"Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each."
15 The disciples did so, and everybody sat down.
16 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven,
he gave thanks and broke them.
Then he gave them to the disciples to set before the people.
17 They all ate and were satisfied,
and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
I went to town yesterday. Really, I've practically been a recluse since our arrival home. My neighbor invited me over to gather in her garden and I didn't make it there, either. When we get home from vacation I like to just 'nest' for a week, realizing that this vast space is my home, with all the luxuries like a bath and tv. This after living in our van for two months, lol. So, off to town I went to stock up on a few items. I headed for Shoppers Drug Mart (its a pharmacy for you folks not in Canada) I ended up buying at least a dozen items, including some wonderful foot cream and cooling gel for my sweet husband who will have to spend a lot of time on his feet soon, with school. When the bill was tallied, it totalled $45 - but (woo hoo!) I was able to cash in $25 in 'points' collected on their point system. I was delighted. Those points really add up!
I did spoil myself with some lip gloss. I'm addicted to the stuff. Yes, its a tad 'sticky' but its a product I will recommend as its just georgeous to wear and it tastes like dessert. Its worth tying your hair back for! It's Maybelline's Shiny-licious lip gloss. You can see what its about HERE

Hopefully you won't be tortured with endless popups to get my downloads. Have and AWESOME DAY!
BARB'S HANDY TIP # 67
Revitalize Pillows, Silk Plants and Teddies
If your couch pillows are looking tired, if your silk plants are all dusty, if your children's stuffed toys are a little 'ratty' and you don't need to actually clean them fully yet. If you just want to perk them up a bit, then put them into a large trash bag along with one cup of cornstarch and shake them around for a minute or two. This also deodorizes them too!
Barb what a neat tip ..thanks so much...and hey i maybe blogging lots .it's beacause you are always there to encourage me...thanks so much ...what a sister in law and sister in the Lord ..love you
